if not we can try for a meetup here! texas in summer -- I'm sure that'll bring unfogged-ers in droves.

Mmmm... August.

We may be in Austin in October, a much more civilized time for a visit/meetup.

Did you know that Southwest is starting an Austin-San Francisco flight, coming August 26th? That's one reason I was thinking about postponing the visit. (All the flights I saw were just under $500.)

7 - the whole meetup is going to just be juvenile sex jokes, isn't it? i'd be disappointed if not.

I'll come if I can bring my 9-month-old.

4, flying into Oakland is much less of a hassle than SFO. Unless you're dying for a Sephora stop, I don't see the advantage.

5, w00t!

I certainly don't have a problem with kids being there.

I'm still betting on the Fargo meetup.

13: We recently discovered that we do actually have a commenter in Fargo, so we're one step closer.

She'll die in the ditch like a carp and deliberately lie in the hot sun for three days.

I won't know probably until a few days into July whether we'll actually be able to come (getting from Santa Cruz to Berkeley can be annoying with no car) but if we do, we won't stay too late, in case I've spooked anyone who fears babies. implicit emoticon

It'll be good to have a baby around in case the kitchen stops serving food. No need to run off early.

I'm back in town the Wed before, so I'll be there.

Just want to say I'll now have missed UnfoggeDCon by one day, the last New York meetup by one day, and this by 3 days. The unfogged gods hate me.

Babies are nice. Bring the baby. And I'm driving from Ventura, so don't give me this fussing about Santa Cruz nonsense, either.

yeah, bring the baby. they're are awesome, plus in case anything gets awkward, inevitably the baby will do something adorable and everyone can just talk about that for a while.

B, you should take the coastal route and pick up Neil and baby on the way.

Sephora stop

Sephora. There's one at SFO, but not OAK. Other than flight availability, there's no reason to favor SFO over OAK other than the shopping, so you shouldn't hold out for SFO service on Southwest before coming out here, is what I'm saying. (Most of the airlines that fly out of Austin come to one or the other anyway, so you're already spoiled for choice.)

That sounds like fun. I think b would get along well with my wife too. (Her joints are fully articulated, but she is neither quiet nor submissive.) It's actually quite convenient to get to Santa Cruz without having to take the coastal route from LA, as well. We do have other ways to get there, note, so no pressure.
