Sorry you're dying, not that you're carrying your share of the posting burden, but I've also had the salt-water remedy recommended to me. I don't think you're supposed to inject so much as suck up the salt-water into your nose. I've always opted for the cold. (But you don't have to decide this time: you're supposed to do it at the first sign of illness).
Oops. Just read Missy's post. Definitely sounds like she's injecting, not sucking. And doing it as ameliorative, not preventative. So, nevermind anything I just said, except the bit about the posting burden.
