How long has Wonkette been using that font? I like it.

I'm pretty sure they've always used it, though they did an overall site redesign sometime in the last year. Not sure if the font was among the changes.

Dude, don't let Brock know that you're talking about fonts. He can't even see the difference between serif and san. He'll kick your asses for this shit.

I don't remember it from back when I used to read the site regularly (before AMC left).

Plus ça change. Before there were bundlers, there were corporate PACs, and they operate on the same principle. Since it is illegal for corporations to donate money from the company treasury to federal election campaigns, corporate PACs have to extract contributions from their employees. I know many people who have contributions to their employers' PACs deducted from their salaries by payroll deduction.

Tim Noah had a great article on this practice in the Washington Monthly back in 1982 or so, called "Shakedown in the Boardroom." (Can't find it online, unfortunately.)

I've been somewhat surprised to see marketing materials for the PAC plastered all over the hallways here. I'm not sure _why_ I'm so surprised. I'm in-and-among the lawyers, where there's more uncritical acceptance of this large tech company's political goals.
