Glad to see Barlow back. However, this particular thread is a classic example of bloggers spinning their wheels and falling over themselves blogospherically highlighting something that's not terribly relevant in the first place.
The recall is of marginal relevance to national affairs.
Bustamante's membership in or failure to denounce MEChA is of marginal relevance to recall.
Big media's not too worried about Bustamante's failure to denounce MEChA.
So why should we care? (To be fair, I agree with Barlow that this is a BS story, but let's worry about other issues such as Prop. 54 maybe.)
Well, if you assume your second point (re membership in MEChA), then Barlow is wasting his time. But at least some people are trying to say that that membership is a serious reason not to vote for Bustamante.
