Omens are thin on the ground in my faithless life, but this happened to me recently:
I had to fly on short notice about two weeks ago. Cheapest fare was from JFK, so I took the A-train from Penn station. 2 miles from the airport, the train stopped because someone had used that train as a means for suicide. I was sitting in the front car and went from hearing the thump to scrambling for ground transport to catch my plane. I got on the plane, and during bumpy takeoff, a piece of the airplane's interior trim fell off.
I don't usually clap on landing, but on that flight, I did.

The site - as it looks now, I don't know if it looked different before the guy supposedly took it down - appears to be about extolling the physical virtues of supermodels. This does strike me as an odd hobby. I don't think I'd care for it if my husband put that much time and effort into it.
