I think I missed that conversation but stumbled upon the song otherwise and was obsessed with it for a few weeks. This morning my Spotify "Discover" playlist gave me a cover of it I did not love, and then it gave me five dollars. (The original lies one note (("wherever I've been")) out of my range and it always sounds screamy or a quarter tone flat when I sing along in my car. Sadness.)

NMM to Jonathan Demme.

He'll probably be best remembered for Silence of the Lambs and Stop Making Sense but Swimming to Cambodia and Something Wild were my favorites of his.
