Another thing about Britney Spears: much of her acting repertoire seems to consist of turning her head to an oblique angle while crossing her eyes and sticking her tongue out to one side. I've seen it in at least one Pepsi commercial, I saw it in a featured shot in a Crossroads commercial, and I think I've seen it at other times. I think it's supposed to be some sort of wacky expression, but wacky shouldn't come up as often as it seems to for her.
Regarding POST BOOBIES PLZ, I did a Google search for "boobies" yesterday as I was preparing slides for a lecture on the Galapagos Islands' endemic fauna. Yes, I did get what I needed.
For the record, no, I do not find Britney attractive. If I had to pick one of the Britney clones, though, my vote would go to Mandy Moore. She's cute.
Her wide eyes have always given her a slightly bovine appearance that at its best implies 'I'm so stupid I'll do anything' and at its worst warns 'take me home and I'll balloon up like a heifer.'
I'll say yea on the heifer but nay on the "do anything." One of the notable things about her performance in "Crossroads" was how damn professional she was. She was doing a job and doing it solidly. She and Aguilera have been in the business a long time and it's worth remembering that what they do is hard work with lots of pressure and most kids (and adults) would crack right quick in similar circumstances.
